4th of July

Wow, its been a long time since I've been on here.
It was a busy 4th of July weekend.Kids all came home on Thursday night and set up tents. They camped out all weekend.
It's hard to remember what all we even did all weekend. We had bomfires every evening. On Friday evening Milo and Joanne my mom and Grandma Slagh were here for supper. We grilled Rib Eye Steak and had an assortment of different salads. Nicole and Alex brought a Birthday cake for me,so we ate some of that for desert. Then we all waited for it to get dark to do fireworks.Brandon and Alex did a good job of picking out a nice assortment of big fireworks.
On Saturday we went to the parade in Hague. Milo and Duane both had tractors in it.My digital pictures didn't turn out that great but I'll post better ones when I get the others developed. We went straight home after the parade and Alex and Nicole ran to Ampride to get dinner for us. Then we all took a nap.Everyone was so tired from the late night bonfires.
Saturday night Bruce, Nancy and their family, and Milo and Joann came for supper. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, brats and an assortment of salads. We visited until dark and then we did fireworks. It was another really nice show.
Sunday we went to Church in the morning and watched a movie in the afternoon.
It was areally busy fun weekend.
I just love doing bonfires we all just sit around visit, roast marshmellows and have a good time.Although mom and pop tend to wear out and go to bed before everyone else.Although I do recall the one night Brandon and Julie went to town, when they got home,Casey was still up and Duane had just got home from baling.Around 2:00AM they made a supper of left over steaks, and hamburgers and just sat around ate supper again and visited. Here are some pictures from the weekend.
