This song has been covered by many different christian artists but was written by Paul Baloche. Here he is singing it himself.

The Classics IV

Here's an oldie for everybody. I couldn't find a live version I liked but I guess this one will do. Just listen to the song and ignore the vid.

Here's a couple oldies from Cat Stevens before he converted to Islam and changed his name to Yusuf Islam.

Great Weekend

My sister Lisa and brother inlaw Bleau came home this weekend for a visit. They got here sometime Friday night. They stayed at Mom and Dads. They walked over to visit us on Saturday afternoon. I should probably explain for those who don't know, we live on the same farm as my Mom and Dad. Our houses are probably, just guessing, about an eighth of a mile apart separated by trees. Anyway it was great to see them again, it's been awhile. Man, have their kids grown. Thanks again Bleau, Lisa and kids for stopping by. We also walked down and looked at some of the calves.

Mom and Dad took us all out to supper at Bernie's Beefstro in Mound City, SD Saturday night. Betty had jumbo shrimp and fries, Heather had a chicken burger and cheese balls, and the rest of us had ribeye. I feel I must apologize to Lexi, I didn't realize she didn't know how to cut her steak. She was sitting beside me. Betty realized it and asked me to help her but by that time it looked to me like she was doing it herself. Sorry Lexi!

We've had 29 cows calf already. That leaves 11 to go. The calves are mostly heifers (17) and 12 bulls. We had our first red calf yesterday! His mommy is a darker red blaze. Every other calf so far has been black or black with some white on them. So it was a welcome surprise.

Alive: Deep In The Heart Of Texas

I have this CD it's one of my favorite Cathedrals CDs. As George Younce would say, and I agree, Ernie Haas is probably one of the most powerful tenors I've ever heard. Hope you like it.

It's a Beautiful Day

Yesterday we had a high of 89 degrees with high winds, not a very nice day. Not complaning, it's better than -20, but a little too warm for this time of year. Today we had a high of 60 degrees. It's still windy but not like yesterday. It's a Beautiful Day.

Nick Vujicic "Life Without Limbs"

Maybe you guys have seen this before, but I haven't so I thought I'd but it on in case somebody hasn't seen it. Most of this video is from when he was speaking at the Crystal Cathedral.

Red Skelton 1969

I can remember watching his show when I was a kid. He ended every show by saying "Good Night and God Bless". Listen to the very end.

Doctor Appointment

I had my doctor appointment yesterday. I got a good report. The doc says my sternum is healed. He said I can start driving and doing the things I used to do. He also said to start out slowly and very carefully. Well I just wanted to let ya'll know what I found out. I also wanted to Thank everybody for your cards, flowers, gifts of food and money and especially for your prayers before, during and after my surgery. Betty and I thank the Lord everyday for each and everyone of you. We couldn't have made it without you and your prayers. Jesus loves you and so do we!!!! God bless you all.
