Corn

Started the corn harvest on Monday. By Tuesday we ran into some wetter corn (16.4%) so we will have to let it dry down some more.

Wheat

The wheat is done! Finished up last night around 7:00. It didn't work to combine on Thursday, it was just too humid and no sunshine.

Harvest Update

We have about 10 acres left. Should have been done yesterday but had alternator trouble on the combine again. It's cloudy and humid this morning, so I hope the sun comes out so we can finish today. They're talking rain and storms for later this afternoon and tonight.

Wheat Harvest

The wheat harvest is under way. Recently had rain so we're waiting for it to dry out again. We have about 130 acres left to do. It's running 45 bu. weighs 61-62 lbs. with protein at 14%.
